Why can't I log in to my Olymp Trade account?

Click on the Change Password option you see in the log-in panel.

Check the Captcha box and hit the Restore button. You will be sent a link in your email.

In your email, you'll find the mail with the subject line Password Recovery. Click the link in it.

You'll now be asked to enter the new password and hit the Change Password button. It will automatically log you in, unlike other platforms where you need to log in again.

Unable to receive the 2-factor authentication message

Once you log in, you'll find a menu on the right-hand side. If you can't, click on the human-shaped icon on the top right corner of your screen.

On the menu, scroll to the bottom and select Profile Settings.

Next up, select Two-Factor Authentication.

You can choose between SMS Authentication and Google Authenticator.

Click on SMS Authentication. It will ask you to enter your mobile number.

You'll first need to enter your country code. For South Africa, it is +27 followed by your mobile number (for example, +27xxxxxxxxx). If you see the South Africa flag in the text area, the country code is correct.

Enter the code you receive and click Confirm.

You have successfully set up two-factor authentication.

You can also go with Google Authenticator if you do not want to receive messages. This requires you to download Google Authenticator on your smartphone.

Scan the code using the app, click Continue, and enter the code shown on the mobile.

If your camera isn't working, use the code given below the scanner. On Google Authenticator, you'll have to choose the Enter a Set-Up Key option.

You can also remove the two-factor authentication if needed from the same menu.

Olymp Trade Account Blocked

Olymp Trade doesn't block your account unless there's a solid reason to do so (trust me, no business wants to lose customers for nothing). And in this case, your account is unlikely to be restored.
